Available in seven beautiful colours. High opacity formulation for wonderful depth of tone. No visible brush strokes. Achieve great colour with just one pass-over (you'll need to use far less of this than regular off-the-shelf varieties).

Please note final colour will be affected by the substrate, and also by the application of a lacquer.

Mainland UK shipping options

We offer three shipping options across Mainland UK: Standard, Express, and AM Express Next Day.

Standard delivery (£4.80) typically takes 2 to 4 business days.
Express delivery (£10.00) usually arrives in 1 to 3 business days. This is our most popular service and is available for orders placed before 10:30am, Monday through Thursday.
AM express next day (£20.00) is our fastest service, guaranteed to arrive before 10:30am the next working day. This option is only available for delivery 10:30am, Monday through Thursday.

Important notes on processing

Next working day orders: To qualify for Express or AM Express, orders must be placed and confirmed before 10:30am, Monday through Thursday.

Weekend orders: Orders placed after 10:30am on Friday will be processed first thing on the following Monday morning.

We are currently unable to offer the above flat-rate costs to all areas. Please be aware that there may be additional delivery charges for customers in non-mainland UK areas, such as the Scottish Highlands and islands, Northern Ireland, and the Isle of Man. Exactly what I wanted!

I was looking for a very small amount of reddish brown wood dye for a craft project but most stores only sell larger tins. 2 minutes spent searching the Internet and I find Tradecoatings sample Cherrywood stain for £6.50! Absolutely perfect!

Physical properties

Surface preparation

Remove all loose contamination from substrate such as dust and dirt. All surfaces should be grease free and sanded ready to be coated. Wipe the surface with White Spirit.

Application

Suitable for brush, roller, rag or spray application. Allow at least 30 minutes drying time before sanding and overcoating (longer in temperatures below 18°C).

For airless spray use a 1.7mm or 1.8mm nozzle.

Storage guidelines

Store indoors, away from direct sunlight in original container, in a dry place at temperature between 5 and 40°C.

Keep out of reach of children.

Shelf life is 12 months under above mentioned storage conditions.

First aid

Eye contact

Remove contact lenses. Irrigate copiously with clean, fresh water for at least 10 minutes, holding lids apart. Seek medical advice.

Inhalation

Seek fresh air, keep patient warm and at rest. If breathing is irregular or stopped administer artificial respiration. Give nothing by mouth. If unconscious place in the recovery position. Seek medical advice.

Skin contact

Remove contaminated clothing, wash skin thoroughly with soap and water, or use a proprietary skin cleanser. Do not use solvents or thinners. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist.

Ingestion

If accidentally swallowed, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Keep at rest and obtain medical attention, show the container label. Protection of first aiders: No action shall be taken involving any personal risk or without suitable training.
