Floor Varnish (single-pack)

PREPARATION
Remove all loose contamination from substrate such as dust and dirt. All surfaces should be grease free and sanded ready to be coated. Wipe the surface with White Spirit.
Ideal for use over Trade Coatings Wood Stain, or coat-on-coat application with a light sand in between each coat.
If using on MDF we recommend the use of Trade Coatings MDF Sealer first as a base coat.

APPLICATION
Suitable for brush, roller, or spray application. Allow at least 30 minutes drying time before sanding and overcoating (longer in temperatures below 18°C).
For airless spray use a 1.7mm or 1.8mm nozzle. If necessary, thin with Trade Coatings Thinner.

Products supplied by different manufacturers or distributors may be dispatched separately and arrive on different dates.

Important notes on processing

Next working day orders: To qualify for Express or AM Express, orders must be placed and confirmed before 10:30am, Monday through Thursday. 

Weekend orders: Orders placed after 10:30am on Friday will be processed first thing on the following Monday morning.

Delivery surcharges (non-mainland UK)

We are currently unable to offer the above flat-rate costs to all areas. Please be aware that there may be additional delivery charges for customers in non-mainland UK areas, such as the Scottish Highlands and islands, Northern Ireland, and the Isle of Man. If your delivery address falls into one of these zones, we will get in touch with you before processing your order to confirm any extra costs. You will always have the option to proceed or cancel.

Achieves full durable hardness over a period of a few weeks. For cleaning the surface during this period use a damp soft cloth or mop.

Store indoors, away from direct sunlight in original container, in a dry place at temperature between 5 and 40°C.

Keep out of reach of children.

Shelf life is 24 months under above mentioned storage conditions.

Floor Lacquer Single Pack - Data Sheet

SAFETY
Pre-catalysed lacquers are skin and eye irritants and sensitisers. It is extremely important to wear protective gloves and eye protection when handling. Spills or splashes must be removed immediately – if allowed to dry, material can only be removed mechanically or with heat and/or harsh chemicals.
Environmentally hazardous - do not allow wet product to enter water courses, drains, sewers or the general environment.

FIRST AID
Eye contact:
Remove contact lenses. Irrigate copiously with clean, fresh water for at least 10 minutes, holding lids apart. Seek medical advice.

Inhalation:
Seek fresh air, keep patient warm and at rest. If breathing is irregular or stopped administer artificial respiration. Give nothing by mouth. If unconscious place in the recovery position. Seek medical advice.

Skin contact:
Remove contaminated clothing, wash skin thoroughly with soap and water, or use a proprietary skin cleanser. Do not use solvents or thinners. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist.

Ingestion:
If accidentally swallowed, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Keep at rest and obtain medical attention, show the container label. Protection of first aiders: No action shall be taken involving any personal risk or without suitable training.
